Hi Masa,
I see you are a joker! You even make jokes in your second language, English! I think you are going to have to eat bread or potatoes instead of rice for two weeks. Do you think you can manage it?

Hello, Masa!
This is Hiromi, and I was there last year as a participant! It's nice to meet you. ^^

I liked how you named your own blog because I also like to listen to the songs of Ken Hirai!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading more about what you do in the US. See you soon~!

Hi Massa,
You sound like a lot of fun and seem to be enjoying this wonderful experience.
How come 7-11 is not a store for you? I did not get that one ... but it is definitely a place where one finds a lot of stuff one may need at an odd time of the day, isn´t it?

Welcome to this side of the planet.
Best regards,
Berta, an English teacher in Venezuela

Hi, Masa.

Welcome to the U.S. and congratulations on your blog! I loved the humor that I found in your first post and look forward to reading more!

I hope your entire stay in the U.S. is a continuation of your wonderful world!

I had never heard of Ken Hirai, but I found information about him in Wikipedia and I also visited his website. I couldn't read anything except the links to parts of the site, but I enjoyed listening to a little of his music. I agree that he has a very good voice.

I can understand why Seven Eleven wasn't a convenience store for you: no Japanese fast food there! I've had the same experience in my own trips away from home. The next time you come here, you should bring a rice cooker and some good rice (because, as you know by now, it's hard to find the right kind of rice in most U.S. stores).

Keep smiling and keep posting in your blog!
