I am going to my parent's house. Oh! Sorry! my mother's house. (I'm apreyer, but not a liar.Ha, ha, ha)This is because my parents divorsed two years ago. People has many reasons we don't know or we don't have the way.
By the way I'm going to my country. This is two times in this year. I'm happy and lucky. My country is in Nagoya. Do you know it? Nagoya is the best area. It is hotter(more humid) than any other area in Japan of the summer, and in Nagoya is Toyota moters company(?).
Also Nagoya food is 'Kishimen', 'Misokatsu', 'Uirou', 'Ankake pasta' and any thing alse. Nagoya is very interesting town. People living in Nagoya is generally called 'NAgoyan'(just kidding)Ha, ha, ha. Thank you. I will come back inTokyo in 27,Aug. Bye-----!!

Sometimes (actually, a lot of the times) we cannot fully understand the exact reason behind why others make decisions that do not seem to be the best ones in our eyes. Kind of sad in one way, but I think that's also what makes this world such an interesting place to live!

How are you? It seems like you are enjoying your stay in Nagoya. I hope you can explain the different kinds of food you listed as being typical of the Nagoya area. Maybe you can take some pictures of these foods and post them in your blog.
Is Nagoya hotter and more humid than Washington DC?
Today it was about 95 degrees F, but not terribly humid, so it was bearable. Still, I stayed inside in the air conditioning most of the day.
UM classes start on Wednesday, so I am busy getting ready.

I guess you're in Nagoya as I write this but will soon be in Tokyo. I've never been in Nagoya, but I'd like to visit there some day.
I'm not familiar with the food that you mentioned, but I did Google searches and learned that kishimen is a kind of noodle dish, misokatsu is a pork cutlet, uirou is a sweet made from rice, and ankake pasta is probably pasta with ankake sauce (and I'm not sure what that is). It all sounds delicious and I'm sure you have enjoyed it.
Were you in Nagoya for the Nippon Domannaka Matsuri? I know that this year it was held August 24th-August 26th. It sounds wonderful!
